People's CMO Model
Think of People's CMO Model as a school atlas: simplified, slightly wrong, and the reason you found your way at all.
The model's real service is conversation. It gives a group of people the same picture to point at. Half of management is just getting everyone to look at the same wall.
Strip it to the floor and you find an old instruction: look carefully, judge slowly, act decently. The new name exists because the old instruction keeps being forgotten.
In any Indian office there is one person who knows where everything is, whom to call, and how things actually get done. The organisation chart does not show this person. Reality does.
An organisation is only a group of people who have agreed, for now, to pull in roughly the same direction. If this page made you think of one specific person, do not send it to them. Apply it to yourself first; that is how these things work.
